Inventory

This module is the core app. for inventory and warehouse management in Odoo. It keep tracks of all storable products and is used to apply re-ordering rules whenever a certain product count is reduced to a minimal level. There are various inventory valuation techniques applicable like FIFO, AVCO and standard pricing in this app. Moreover user can create multi-step warehouse inventory pickup operations to optimize the management of inventory workflows. Various inventory reports and analytics are available in this module.

Purchase

As a counter-part to sales app. this app manages the purchase workflow from RFQ to purchase order to vendor bill management. Due to  inventory re-order rules PO's can be generated automatically whenever inventory count for a product falls below a certain threshold.
